Ongoing Oil Painting Class Beginners/Intermediate
Cost: set each month depending on number of Fridays
Three Fridays in August (14th, 21st, & 28th) 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm $65 (including model fee)
Three Fridays in September (11th, 18th, 25th) 1:00pm - 4:00 PM $65 (including model fee)

Supply List

Easel
A French easel is preferable because of its versatility. It can be used standing up or on a table.
Notebook for notes
Odorless turpenoid or odorless mineral spirits
(with a jar)
Paper towels
Flash Drive (for pictures)
Brushes
Bristle Filbert Brushes. Sizes 2, 4, 6, 8, 10.
Prinston makes an affordable, good quality bristle brush. Available at Jerry’s Artarama.
Palate knife liquitex #15 small
Palate
I use a piece of glass glued to a neutral toned board.
Painting surface
Primed Canvas or Masonite with two coats of gesso lightly sanded.
Paint (These are the paints I use, brand is less critical to me than having a nice variety of color.)
